My Mama's Chai

Inspired by Mama Pam

SERVES           PREP TIME           COOK TIME

     2-3                        5 min.                        10 min.

INGREDIENTS

 

4 black tea bags or 2 tablespoons Red Label loose tea

2 cups of hot water

1 teaspoon of My Mama's Ghee 

Sweetener of choice

4 chopped cardamom 

1 clove or ½ teaspoon of ground clove

1 cup oat-milk (or milk of choice)

PREPARATION

  1. In a medium sauce-pan, boil 2 cups of water, cardamom, clove, and ginger. Add tea bags or Red Label loose tea. Bring to a boil. Add 1 cup oat-milk. Let boil for 2-3 minutes. 

  2. Using a strainer, strain the chai into a blender. Add 1 teaspoon of ghee in blender. Blend and enjoy!
