Lemon, Garlic & Ghee Pasta

     3-4                        5 min.                        10 min.



1 box of BANZA Bowtie Pasta (or pasta of your choice)

1 Pack of Trader Joe’s Sausage-less Sausage 

2-4 teaspoons of My Mama’s Ghee

1 Lemon (juice and zest)

Minced Garlic

½ cup Heavy Whipping Cream (optional)

1 cup grate parmesan cheese + extra for garnish 

Pepper to taste 

Basil (optional)



  1. Follow the recipe on the BANZA pasta box. 

  2. Slice and cook Trader Joe’s Sausage-less Sausage.

  3. Melt My Mama’s Ghee in a sauce pan on medium low and add garlic.

  4. Once garlic is soft, add lemon zest and pepper to saucepan. Simmer for 3-5 minutes. Add cream (optional). Add parmesan cheese, stir to melt. 

  5. Once pasta is done boiling, drain. 

  6. In a bowl, first toss in lemon juice then add the sauce. Add sausage or meat of choice. 

  7. Serve and garnish with pepper, grated parmesan, and basil.
